Outlook CRM integration from the sender
Open the Outlook add-in on a business email. It passes the sender’s name and address to the configurator so you can start a customer or supplier record.
How does the Outlook integration work?
The add-in opens the company’s web workspace with the selected sender details. Company lookup and review happen there, before any ERP or CRM submission.
What Outlook passes to the browser
A focused sender handover
Save the company login reference in the add-in settings so future launches use the right workspace.
Continue in the company workspace
The sender’s display name and email are handed over. Message bodies and attachments are not part of this transfer.
Keep the final decision visible
Review the draft in the browser and select a supported destination when it is ready.
How it works
- 1
Select a message
Open an email and the add-in.
- 2
Confirm the sender
Check the displayed sender and company reference.
- 3
Open the configurator
Continue in the browser and review the draft.
- 4
Review the proposal
Submit approved data through a configured connection.
Example: Outlook integration
A sales colleague receives a first inquiry. The sender details open in the configurator without copying them into a separate form.
A personal email service may not identify the employer. You may need to supply the company website yourself.
